Hull Art U.S.A., H-5-6 1/2"
Mark ca. 1940s. - Mark used by Hull Pottery during the 1940s to advertise the prevalence of the company's popular art pottery lines during that period. Reference: Collectors Encyclopedia of Hull Pottery by Brenda Roberts.
From realpriceguides.com: "The magnolia pattern was produced in both matte and gloss using the same molds for most of the pieces with only a few exceptions...The gloss was the second design with embossed hand painted pink or blue florals with transparent pink background."
Vintage condition, light crazing, small crack appears to be in glaze (see pics). Still a very nice piece of vintage pottery.
